· Class Rules:
In addition to the discipline policy stated in the St. Edward Student Handbook, our class will be following the three school rules of respect:
terminology consistently throughout the school.
· Discipline:
I will be using two discipline plans this school year. One is a daily
reward system in which each child may earn play money from the First National Bank of 3Y”. This is an individual reward. The other system is a marble reward system. This system focuses on the group as a whole.
· Consequences:
If a student fails to follow the rules they will get two verbal warnings. If their misbehavior continues, they will sign their name in “The Book”. If their behavior continues, they put a check by their name. At this point, they have lost their recess and will write a note home to their parents explaining what has happened. The note needs to be signed by a parent and returned to school the next day. If misbehavior continues, a conduct referral will be issued. If the student continues to have difficulty following the rules, the parent will be contacted by phone, note, or e-mail and a conference will be arranged if needed.
