· Tests: Students will take tests in all subject areas. It is the students’ responsibility to write down the test date and chapter number in their assignment notebook. Test dates are subject to change depending on the anticipated progress throughout the week. Students will be informed of test date changes. Study guides for tests will come home either in the Wednesday folder or on the Friday before the test.
Graded tests are given back to the students and reviewed. Tests should be signed by a parent and returned the next school day. Getting tests signed and returning them to school is considered a homework assignment. If you have a question or concern about the test, please write a note on the front of the test or in the assignment notebook. Students receive letter grades on tests. The grading scale is as follows:
100%-93% = A
92%-85% = B
84%-75% = C
74%-70% = D
69% and below U
Test and project scores count for 70% of the total grade. Class work counts for 30% of the total grade.
